Akismet released new wordpress plugin for wordpress blogger. Its also support wordpress MU version. Akismet is protect your blog to avoid comment spam. Download and ugrade now.
If you don’t fall under akismet pro-blogger or enterprise uses, using this plugin is Free. For WPMU owner, if you install this plugin into mu-plugin folder, you must change the plugin url to /wp-content/mu-plugins/ at line 617 and 659 in akismet.php.
You will need to enter your akismet API key. If you already have a WordPress.com account, your API key is listed on your profile page which you can get free from wordpress. To check for spam, go under Comments -> Akismet Spam
