Download Firefox 3 Day
Heard it over the radio today while I was on my way to work that today is Download Firefox 3 Day. Ever since I started using Firefox, I have been using it daily for all my browsing needs. And today, they are going for the World Record of having the most download in 24 hours for their latest version. The software downloads will start counting around 10:00 a.m. PST. Go and support them in making the World Record if you have been please in using this piece of fantastic software.
Firefox 3 seems to have better memory management and I have heard from people that it could even handle up to 40-50 tabs at one go. Personally I haven’t try to open that many tabs before. For those who uses add-on, do use the the nightly tester tools add-on that would allow you to override the version checking so you don’t need to worry about compatibility.
