The Advertlets widget have been updated. It now comes support for the new ads banners from Advertlets beside the standard 165×240 Sidebar banner. You only need to input your Username, GID, AdType and whether you would like it to include the poll or not. The old features should still work unless Advertlets have change it.

This is not the official Advertlets Wordpress Widget. It is something I came up with on my free time. Feel free to download and use it to earn more money.

Advertlets Wordpress Widget v1.01 

The AuctionAds widget have been updated with another feature. This feature allows you to use your post title as a keyword. If no ads is found, it will display the closes possible ads available. If you wish to use your own keyword, it will be defaulted for all auctionads on your page. Well, unless you are not using the widget of cos.

I’m in the plan of making a theme that is fully widgetized. The widget will be available for the header, footer, left & right sidebar and before & after post bar. After that, hopefully I don’t need to make any changes to the code anymore. Just only need to drag & drop what I want to display from the list of available widgets. I’m still looking of a nice 3-column that I can use and modify. Will keep things updated… Later!

I have made another Widget and this time its for AuctionAds. You may now drag and drop AuctionAds Widget and place it on your sidebar. The options to be configure is just the same, only you need to add your own ID and Campaign ID. To see it more in action, visit MyAnimes MySpace. I have added this Math Spam Protection for comments as a plugin. The problem is there is this code which I need to add on all the themes if I want all the other user to be able to use this plugin. There is 2 ways I could accomplish this is either I add the code before hand into the themes or make a widget to be place in the comment section. Both ways need me to modify the themes template code as well.

I’m still comtemplating on which one to do as both ways need me to modify more than 30 themes. Its not a lot of themes but still there are work need to do. I’ll sleep over it and think about which is the best way.

I have customized another widget so I can insert Javascript code on the side bar. This will make it easier to add stats, counter and such without the need to modify the code Wordpress theme. Came up with this idea because each time I change to a new theme I need to add the stats or counter code on theme itself. Now with this widget, I can just change the theme anytime I like. Its just a simple widget. If you need to it, just send me an email.

I have added AnakDatuk in to the PPP system so therefore I will be writing some sponsored post once a while. Need to make some money so I can change to a better hosting provider next year as well as maintaining this site.

I will still carry on upgrading this WPMU Blog Networkup when there is a new version. A few more things that need to be done is to check all the themes again to see if it works with the Visual Editor. As for adding new themes, I will temporary stop it. I have modified and customized a widget for iMeem. Now you can just add it on to your sidebar or on your post. Part of the code came from Chitika eMinimall Widget and Anarchy Flash Player. Its really cool to have your own playlist playing on your site isn’t it.

I will release it when it is fully tested. Right now, I have only tested it working fine with the embed playlist URL. As for the individual song URL, I will test it soon.

The usage is very simply. All you need is the get the embed code from iMeem and place it in the Widget iMeem Embed URL. For the playlist width and height, you can specify this yourself to suit your blog.

Updated my customized Adbrite widget because Adbrite has also updated their code. Place this widget in the ‘SideBar’ & ‘After Post’ sidebar and configure each widget accordingly. With this Adbrite widget, you can change the title color, text color, background color and border color for your Ads.

The Adbrite Text Group URL is the first URL you see from the Adbrite code
Eg: http://ads.adbrite.com/mb/text_group.php?sid=331633&zs=3732385f3930

The Adbrite Purchase URL is the second URL you see from the Adbrite code
Eg: http://www.adbrite.com/mb/commerce/purchase_form.php?opid=331633&afsid=1

The Adbrite Image Source is the third URL you see from the Adbrite code. You can change to use your own image.
Eg: http://files.adbrite.com/mb/images/adbrite-your-ad-here-leaderboard-w.gif

The Adbrite Image Alt Text is the text displayed when image is not found. You can adjust the width, height and border of the image too.

Note: For the Image Source and Alt Text please enter an empty space (spacebar once) if you don’t want to show anything. The Image width, height and border just put ‘0′, zero will do. Thats about it till I find a way to fix that.

I needed a way to add Advertlets poll on my blog easily. So I took the Chitika widget plugin and have a little hack at it and came out with the Advertlets widget. I’m using WPMU for my blog and only tested with it. It should be able to work with any WordPress version.

This widget comes with all the extra parameters found by Safirul Alredha. Check out his blog for more details on the parameters.

Bug:
If font type is configured, the poll box doesn’t comes out nicely in FireFox. Other parameters works fine as far as I know.

Installation:
Just unzip it to your widgets folder and you are done…

Usage:
Under Presentation tab, go the Sidebar Widgets. Drag the Advertlets widget and drop on to the sidebar. You need to configure it after that with your username and GID.
